Brewery Sponsorship
Here at the Steam Exchange Brewery we receive a constant stream of requests for sponsorship of charities, and fundraisers for clubs, schools, sporting groups and rallies for enthusiasts of a variety of hobbies. The list is endless and as a small family-owned business, finding a balance between serving both the needs of our local community and the charities we are involved with is difficult given the number of requests we have to deal with.
In some cases The Steam Exchange Brewery’s fine ales are available at a discounted rate for the purposes of sponsoring appropriate events. Please note our beer is handcrafted and costs a lot to make and the cost we may be able to provide it at is still more expensive than mainstream beers in the bottle shop. In return for providing beer at the sponsorship rate we would ordinarily expect to have the brewery logo on the invite/program and a poster at the bar. So, lots of advance notice is important and please don’t ask for free beer. Our sponsorship budget is finite, so please don’t be offended if we are unable to assist you in your cause.
